Who IS this?

Olivia took this photo of me on the way home from st Patrick's Day. Hence the green.

I don't know why, but I think it's hilarious. It might be the learner driver ten to two hand position, and seemingly nervous, upright posture. Or the mumsy, somehow English look to me, as if I'm on reality tv and my name is Cath. Maybe even Caff. I don't know. It doesn't look like me, it looks so funny.

I was right about it being funny, because I showed it to Axel as we were going to bed the other night, and he started to laugh, really laugh, saying he didn't know why, but it was cracking him up. We laughed til tears ran, wheezy, uncontrollable laughter bubbled out of us, contagious and unmanageable.

We used to do that all the time, lying in bed laughing til we couldn't breath, til it hurt. I think it's been years now, since we did, so I'm grateful for the stupid photo.

I love having those moments. I think they remind you how important that deep, underlying connection is to a relationship. Plus, its good to know that you can still access it!

I love those too. Had one just the other night. The "ten to two" hand position is rather amusing is has to be said.

Your steering wheel is on the wrong side, Caff!

ten to two is the first things I noticed.

Laughing is really so important.

I wouldn't mind, but I really don't drive like that!

Mrs Moon, heh.You haven't known weirdness til you've gone round a roundabout the wrong way!

I had to straighten it in my head too when I saw you on that side

Hee Hee! It really is a great photo. You could be the shy, quiet mum in one of those cheesy "jothemama gets her groove back" movies where you take a cookery course, are flirted with madly by the handsome instructor and eventually rediscover the how beautiful life can be by getting a full set of foil highlights and new wardrobe. Do you have a gay friend? You'll need one for this scenario to be complete.

Ha!!

Dammit, must aquire a gay friend.

Actually, alarmingly, I don't have any close gay friends.

I have a gay sister, but that's a different kettle of fish (as it were) entirely.

your hands look amusingly small too.

A female friend of mine always used to drink pints with two hands.

Always made me chuckle.

Hmm. That may just be in contrast to my beefy arm... but I do have the same shaped hands I had when I was two!

AND I have bendy fingers.

Oh Jo... (why do all my comments start with 'oh Jo'?)

I too laughed til I cried. Both reading your post, and then the comments...

I hate to be all girly and everything, but your hair looks fab. Sorry, I'll go now.

Aw, thanks English Mum! Come back!

OH how I love laughing till I cry. Generally it happens to me reasonably often, which is great - unless of course my laughing is completely inappropriate(which is unfortunately also a pretty regular occurence). Sigh. One day I shall act my age.
