lurkers?

I'm a little sad, that so many commenters have fallen by the wayside. I miss that, not to denigrate the sterling efforts of the few.

I know blogs have a shelf life... maybe I've reached my best-before date and will soon be writing into the void again, like I once did at the birth of the blog...

Still - if you're out there and you're not one to comment, leave me a little wave so I know who I'm talking to...

You're one to talk!

hey, I comment sometimes!

I didin't used to because we chatted so much it was obselete.

And I'm intimidated by your hordes of fans.

But still, I comment! Sometimes...

I meant in general madam, you are quiet across the board.

But now that you mention it, love me, love me!

Commenters do come and go, or at least just stop commenting.

That's my rationing, as I'll never have as many fans as MR Xbox there.

I am here. As always.

I know, Ms Moon, you're not a lurker :)

Thanks Maxi, you're right about Mr Popularity (oops, just wrote Mr Poopularity, that's the next chapter): you'll just have to have a baby, is all...

I don't comment very often because I don't like to cross people on their own blogs.

I do read though.

Jo said...

Why, voodoolady? Why do you read? Why?!

Ehh, why does anyone read a blog?

Jo said...

Well. To be honest, these days I read the blogs that I do to learn something. To understand people. To reach out and be reached back to.
To find a little beauty or humour, or a little part of someone on display.
To have a little fun. To get some good words.
To be friendly.
All those things.

There are loads of reasons why I read blogs but most of all it's because I'm interested in all the weird and wonderful people out there.
Also to find like-minded people. Helps me to know that I'm not the only one...

I read this blog because it's entertaining, informative, helpful and warm :-)

Oh and some delicious pictures ;-)

Aw. mick. I'd love to send you cake. But I don't think it would get there intact!

Hi! I'm new! You commented on my blog so I stopped by to meet you.

Thank you for visiting and saying HI and I'll be back. It looks like we have some "friends" in common :)

Jo said...

We do! Love your blog, geeksinrome, Danielle just sent me there.

Martin said...

*cough* if you paid any attention to me you'd have been there a long time ago....

I'm a bit oversubscribed these days, every time I look at google reader there are 100s of unread stuff. Takes long enough to skim through them, let alone make comments. I gotta sort my shizzle out from my shiz.

Jo said...

John, I'm flattered yo ustop by at all :)

Robert said...

I'm afraid to comment, because I was perfectly horrible to you for reasons so unimportant that I can't even remember them.

So, sorry, and I still read. And there still all good

Jo said...

Oh. Thanks Robert. I think you were having a bad patch? Glad things are ok.

Not sure how I missed this first time around.

I am very much still here, though I have to admt, like Morgor, that I can't alaways think of comments...
