because I love you

Well, because it tasted so good I feel I should share:

Egg Mayonaisse de Jo:

Boil eggs til well cooked. Hard.

Take out yolks and mash up.
Add some paprika, cayenne pepper, celery seed, wholegrain mustard and salt n pepper.
Mash up some more.
Add mayo to your liking. Less is more.

Um. That's it. But it tastes so good.

I love this on soda type bread, or black bread, or rice cakes or whatever you like best, but nothing too soft. Needs a wee bit of chew.

And. Tastes GREAT with something pickled and crunchy. Like pickles. But I just had it with sauerkraut and it was wunderbar.

It makes a lovely lunch for when you're busy. Nom nom.

Fermented food is very good for you. That's all I'll say for now.

We make egg salad here- very similar. We boil the eggs then mash them up with the whites, too, then add the mayonnaise and mustard and salt and pepper. Whatever. I'm not real fond of it but some people certainly are.

Nope, and in the health food shop. One with a good herb/spice section, I suppose?

Ireland lags behind in some areas, Craig!

Aren't you meant to be working? :)

Yep, I am working a great deal on things, but it is early, and I have a few minutes to check in with my favorite people on the web, Jo.
