Sometimes it is right to be a girl in a white dress, in the yellow and green light of the garden, image filtered through the hazy particles floating lazily, nostalgically through the shafts of sunlight. Remember hunting fairies, building, reading, feeling the earth spinning under and through your bare soles. Feet in the grass.

And sometimes it is right to dance slowly the summer's song, cheek against another shoulder, face and closed eyes turned to the sun, warmed through.

How to find the solace in the picture  you are actually painted into, that's the question. Where is the story in that?

Some would say it's all in how you frame it. I do not know.

Gosh, Jo, this is just lovely, both the picture and the words.

Oo, thank you. I was aiming for better with the photo, but it was taken on the fly - it would be a lot nicer with a clean window and no yellow plastic toy shopping trolley...

Hi Jo, sonja here

Its much better with the shopping trolley and slightly opaque window! Makes it look real rather than Hallmark-esque.

Well, that's one way to look at it, Sonja!

Thanks, Catherine :)
