What weather to come home to... Lanzarote was hot, too hot for me, really, but, damn, I've half adapted and was shivering to come home to this rain and gale wintery Irish summer.

I've been up a volcano and doing lots of swimming in our beautiful pool - sadly too much eating too, so probably no visible results of the swimming... much hysterical daughter wrangling, so yes, I would now like a holiday on my own to recover from the family holiday, please... and Ryanair... bah.
