I hate it when people I know post 'jokes' that are actually about murdering women.
I also hate it when they do it about how horrible men are etc. Maybe I'm oversensitive today (so I wrote and deleted a comment in the interest of not spreading that horrible awful feeling of 'I made a joke and someone overreacted, cringe' thing around facebook).
But still. I hate this shit.
It might be clever word play, it might be just a joke, but it's a little too close to all of those, 'women, can't live with them, can't shoot them' 'jokes'.
Feh.

Yeah. You could also just accuse them of having bad taste. It's not all that clever, and an ancient joke.
I think it's disgusting. A true example of violence against women. I won't apologize for that view or soften it. I don't believe these kinds of comments are merely boneheaded. I think they reveal a latent hatred of women that is far too widely accepted and excused.
