if I was in charge...

If I had Creator powers, my first redesign of human physiology would be to include on/off switches.

Hunger, on/off.
Fertility, on/off.
Hearing, volume control at least.
Sense of smell, on/off.

Perhaps also some sort of self cleaning function, inner and outer, like ovens of the future.

And active regeneration of skin, nails, teeth - and organs while I'm at it.

Also follicular control would be nice. No more unwanted body hair, and ready made extensions.

That sounds an excellent blueprint. I may be a man, but I'd quite like to have no body hair. And a self-cleaning function would save a lot of daily drudgery. My sense of smell is virtually non-existent so it would be good to switch it on again.

So where do I sign up for the op?

I'm afraid we have to evolve, seeing as I have not yet tapped in to my divine powers :(

Ah to never have to shave my legs again.

And then there could be a horny on/off swith, Hungover on/off switch, in the mood for cleaning on/off. Actually, that last one I could really only do with the on switch.

Yes!

Though I tell you, if I was gifted wth divine powers, someone else would be doing my cleaning.

You'd have to make sure the man of the house also had a cleaning on/off switch, permanently stuck in the on position....

Ready made extensions to what?

It's in a sentence about hair, as well you know.

We all know what you'd modify, now, though...

The listening switch.
The interested switch.
