Sometimes we make pizza.
Delia Smith's base recipe. Napolina pizza topping, because it tastes like pizza topping and if I was to try and make my own, it would add too much time to the recipe. Though it's doable. But, meh.
Real mozzarella, mushrooms, sweetcorn (cos that's what I like), basil, olives, sometimes, though they're too salty usually, courgette - on mine, aubergine, on Axel's pepperoni, ideally, though I've only remembered to buy it once.
A bit of olive oil? Spinach? Egg even. Anything. I'm told broccoli is the way forward.
It is heartily, delightfully fuckin' tasty. You could eat and eat and eat!
Do it!
Edit: I meant to include this link, but I had too much on my plate :)
And oh alright. Delia.

I love to make pizza. My ideal pizza is topped with:
sliced tomatoes, spinach, onions, red bell peppers, pineapple and artichoke hearts. I don't even want cheese on mine.
Looks delicious. Getting really hungry reading that. Gotta go..
Aw, no cheese? I bet Mick's having cheese...
I forgot peppers - but they have to be grilled.
That looks fab. However I have to thoroughly disagree with Ms. Moon, i think pineapple on pizza is a Food Crime. Pizzas with pineapple on them should be jailed.
Oo, I dunno - I used to love it, though I don't have it any more. It's nice on a not-so-Italian style pizza, a little sudden sweet juicy burst in the mouth, along with the salt and creamy cheese. Ahem.
There's something to be said for that, my mouth is actually watering thinking about it :)
Ohhh no, I am putting it in the same category as coleslaw with marshmellow and pineapple.
*Looks manically around for coffee*
Oh yes... homemade pizza...
Don't forget the garlic!
That looks delicious! Yum nyom.
You might want to go a little deeper with the old recipe there, like what to DO with the ingredients...
Make some pizza dough, roll it out, wack the rest all on, first sauce, then base, then cheese then toppings. Cook for about 10 mins or til it looks right, Gas mark 4/350'!
Google Delia's dough recipe.
Or go to K8's for a proper recipe post. I meant to put it in, I will now.
I actually like the marshmallows and pineapple in the coleslaw too. I don't usually admit that and I never eat it, but I like it anyway.
But please- leave the broccoli off of my pizza. To me, that's a food crime.
Come now! You never know til you've tried it. I like broccoli. I like pizza. Who knows? Might be a marriage made in heaven.
My Italian friend, who is adventurous, said he went to a new pizzeria, and had their special - pizza with mayonnaise.
And reported that it was indeed as vomit inducing as it sounds.
What was he thinking?
