Bodhi used to say 'kyeputsch' instead of ketchup, in a deep voiced russian accent. It was brilliant, and I was so sorry when he started saying it properly.
But now it's wasp season, and he keeps running in from outside, lamenting, 'Mama! I scared! I scared of the woffert!'
Kyeputsch is dead. Long live the woffert.

Ah how cute! Woffert indeed!
I can see why you'd miss kyeputsch, but woffert is pretty excellent.
Hey, btw, you won the caption contest on Friskbiskit.
I, too, hated it when my kids started talking "properly." I'll never forget the time Hank came running in the house screaming, "Nakes! Nakes!" I went outside because obviously we were being invaded by snakes but no, there were a few worms outside. I guess he thought they were baby "nakes."
And Bodhi should be scared of the wofferts.
so cute I could combust.
Yep, wofferts are bastards.
We've had several snake sightings as well :)
Though I'm not very impressed with my daughter's new teacher, as she asked for S words and didn't understand Olivia when she said 'Snape'. That's got to be a bad sign...
