more snow is coming, they say

Luckily, the sleds arrived...

Now. I have a post to write about last night's Frames gig but it may have to wait. In the meantime, I found some snow photos I forgot to post.

White!

Small welly-prints

Looking up the lane

Remember the piggies?

And a tour de snow (and messy house) by Olivia - Axl cleaned it all while I was away, it looks much better now...

That is so precious. Her sweet, calm voice and all of the apologies and then Bodhi (I guess?) in the background obviously being tortured.
I love it! Thank-you for sharing this bit of your life and family.

I think more torturing than tortured, Mary :)

View from neighbours garden? What were you doing, breaking in?

They are lovely pictures though, they'll be lovely to look at when the summer comes back.

I did debate explaining that - actually we went and asked to borrow medical gloves to put over our ordinary gloves and save our hands from cold wetness, the better to make snowballs in quantity!

:)...there's a fucking exorcism going on in his house and he's bailing up the staircase saying "sorry if my finger is in the way...LOOK AT THE SNOW WOOOHOOO"

Those are some beautiful scenes.

We got hit with a second snow today, while I was out to lunch. Went shopping for gifts in the snow afterward.

Felt a lot like Christmas.

That accent is a knife in my well educated middle class heart, Dan. Painful!

She didn't know how to turn the video off, bless her.

At least you had something nice to find at three in the morning, Dan. Sigh.

itchy - whose house? Your house? ???

Craig, you sound so happy at the moment :) It's lovely.

Why doesn't she sound more Irish??? I feel cheated!

No, really, very cute.

Sigh. First she lost her th's - then she mae a friend in Junior infants with an English Dad and a very strong, precocious little accent. And the rest is terrible history.

Said friend's mother asked me, is Olivia's dad English?

No, that's your son's accent, I replied.

"Sorry about the sun" - AWWW!

I kept picturing her voice being matched up to a plasticine animation of a Koala, like Nick Park's Creature Comforts... so laid back and sincere and lovely to listen to.

Future news reader on ArrTE maybe?!

Aw, cute idea, Kate.

I hope she'll do better than RRRRTE though.
