1000 Orphan Drawer Project is where they refurbish collected random drawers and build wooden cases for them.


I am looking at this, and I have no idea if I love it or dislike it. I actually can't tell. It's a strange feeling. The lack of symmetry makes me feel odd, I think.

Im with Joanna..it gives me the same feeling my attic room does every time i open the door..shudder..just way too haphazzard for my clutter prone house..have good weekend..off to Kerry with kiddies in search of sun !! :)

I think it is an interesting idea if you own a lot of crap but I am working on simplicity in my life and I just know that all the drawers would get filled with crap that I don't need. There is too much chaos in it for my brain. However, I do like the idea of reusing no longer usable stuff like drawers instead of things going into the garbage.

My family agree that this would be better if the surrounding box was square. As it is it's just disconcerting and looks like the shelf frames are about to start sliding in and out
