I hate what people do to each other. I hate the way people feel it's acceptable to hurt children.

I know. After reading that particularly horrific piece of news today I feel sick to my bones :(. I really don't know what the world is coming to...
I heard someone remark today that people are like animals. I don't know of any animal that would do that...
Right, it's pretty different for animals. I'm sorry to talk about it, I don't want to force it on anyone else, but I felt the same, like I was going to puke or drown in the horror of it. Awful, awful thing.
In my old age, I'm starting to rethink my stance on the death penalty. There's too many people in the world, maybe we should just get rid of the homicidally broken ones.
