Dublin is looking fun tonight. I would go, perhaps, if I had money or friends to go with, or babysitters or the like. That's ok, though, I'm used to staying in, and my hopes for the coming year grow tentative, these days. These years. I'd find it cold and crowded anyway, and be longing for my comfies and Jules Holland well before 12, no doubt. Well, maybe.
Olivia is back in her miseries, and we haven't been outside the door in the last few days. Tomorrow, I will start the new year with a cobweb clearing walk by the sea, with or without her.
